Arkham Asylum Crash, AMD card

My friend came over last weekend and he wanted to play AA so we downloaded his on my computer. When I go to start it, it gets to the pre-game menu and when I press play it crashes and says "Failed to Initialize Nvidia PhysX, Install latest drivers".
I thought PhysX only worked on Nvidia cards? am I wrong?
Can I just Not Play it or push it on my CPU?

Seems like you are running an AMD card then? You will still need the Nvidia PhysX drivers, apparently, even though you can't enable the Advanced effects on your system. They should have installed when you installed the game. Try to install these standalone PhysX drivers and see if that gets the game to start.

Thank you, that worked, the other day I tried it and it just said "no Nvidia card detected" but this worked.
