we are looking to put in a nas drive in our home loaded with thousands of song files at uncompressed loseless qulity. and possibly in the future stream videos from it.
we have a business connection with qnap so we can get a discount on their stuff.
we are looking for a 2-bay to run raid 1 in.
we want to connect it to the network with Ethernet so our russound systum can play the music from it.
im new to nas drives so i dont really know how much of a difrance each thing will make
the link bellow has a list of all 2 and 4(only one) bay drives that are in our price range.
is there anything the cheaper 2 bay drives have that id miss from the more expensive ones? and is there anything missing in the 4 bay drive that would make getting the 2 bay drive better?
