You cannot use a sound card and a USB headset together. The USB adapter for your headset is basically its own sound card in Windows, so they cannot be used in conjunction.

Yo I know Im prety Late but I have the same issue, is there any other way to actualy USE the Soundcard soudbard and configurations on these headset? I bet it would have way better quality.

The best answer is incorrect. Bought and tested with Sound blaster z!
1. Right click the little speaker by your clock at the bottom right of desktop and click recording devices.
2. Select "what you hear" sound blaster z and click properties.
3. Click the listen tab, listen to this device, and playback through (Insert headphones).
4. In sound-blaster software in advanced features "Enable stereo mix to digital output"
5. Set everything you want to soundblaster device in audio settings and enjoy the crisp reformed sound quality. imgur code for photo proof is a/WEa9i

My sound volume on my g933 Artemis improved so far that I must turn it down to play certain songs to defend ears lol. ENJOY!
