Hello guys,

I've had this machine for about a year and have yet to overclock. Wanting more performance and FPS on certain games i'd like to try it out.

My system specs are as followed -

i7 4770 on a Corsair H100i. (SO COLD NEEDS AN OVERCLOCKED BLANKET!!)
2 GTX 780's 3GB Version Super-clocked

Not really sure if the rest is necessary but here you go.

Mobo - Asus Z87 Sabertooth (Updated stock bios.)
KingWin 1000W PSU.
16GB DDR3 Ram.

I'd like to overclock the GPU's AND CPU.
All temps are way below 50C when stressed with a few games. (I know that isn't really stress testing.)

Questions: The Z87 has a lot of options that I can configure to my liking in the bios. However, does anyone an optimized setting selection that I may use myself?

Note: Will I loose my OC if I change the operating system on my SSD? It's all in the bios, correct? It shouldn't affect the OC profile. I wonder if I answered myself.

Thanks all!

Just switch the multiplier from auto to manual and start stepping it up 35 on the 4770k. Start at 3.9 leave the voltage on auto then stress test check what the auto setting is feeding the vcore. Now go to bios and set that as your vcore now start up in the multiplier 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 at some point it will need more volts so bump up the vcore by .o2-03 and test repeat till either starts getting to hot to cool and which point start coming down on the frequency. For the 780 set it to 125 offset on the gpu and get your memory to at least 6700. All of this is attainable.
