as the title says what would be better for me I'm not planning on overclock and also I'm a little intimidated putting a waterblock on a card

Solution
If you have no plans to overclock you may as well stick to the vapor x card, it's an excellent cooler even when it comes to overclocking.
Most of the time removing the cooler and installing an aftermarket one voids the cards warranty.

Personally I would go for the G10. I put one on my R9 270x and the temp differences were massive and has allowed me a good oc from 1070core 1400mem to 1200core and 1575mem. On air my card was hitting temps as high as 84c but now idles at 26c and max temp under load is 46c
