Help Finalizing PC Gaming Build?

Solution
its not looking good, needs some adjustments.

i7 is too strong and GTX 760 is too weak, especially relatively speaking.
dont use a USB network adapter, get a PCI one from TP Link or Rosewill.
RAM should be 2 x 4GB unless you plan on upgrading with another 8GB stick soon.
LASTLY, for the budget, you cant omit an SSD (at least 60GB) for boot drive, at minimum.

If you have enough money for that kind of system could you possibly afford a better cooler? I know thats the best cooler for the money, but there are better coolers out there period... just my thought, And 2 4 gigabyte memory sticks is better than 1 8 gigabyte.. unless you plan on getting another 8gb

Do you think if I upgraded to GTX 770 it would be better? The USB network adapter is for times when i move my PC to a friends and cannot be tethered. Everything will be fine without a SSD for now until I get one. ( I plan on getting one at a later date)

Do you think this is better? http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhu12s
I'm also a bit worried about all my parts fitting inside the case, as I have never actually build a PC before.

Yeah Noctua is a very good reputable brand, Even better than Cooler Master, the case you picked should be plenty for most if not all Heatsinks.

Edit: Also what is your main use for your computer? Video editing? Streaming? Pure gaming only? 3D? Photoshop? Sorry for all the questions.. Im just trying to help and will find better parts for your money for your purpose and try to give you your best options.. And to add onto what i side yeah the case you picked is a full tower, That'll handle any cooler you could throw at it.

To be honest I really don't have much knowledge with overclocking, but I feel like it definitely might be something I want to look into. Would you say that I am safe to overclock with these components?

If you plan to go into overclocking then yes i recommend the Noctua heatsink you listed.

your motherboard and PSU are also very capable of handling the voltages too.

All the questions are fine by me, its only helping :) I would pretty much be using it for a lot of gaming, some streaming and possibly photoshop. Can you tell me the main difference between the GTX 770 Superclocked, and the GTX 770 Dual Superclocker? They are the same price/

Theres no difference really, One has a bios switch for i would believe would be just a higher overclock than the standard OC. Which i wouldent really care about.. And would you mind if i was to put up a pcpartpicker list of my own around the same price point? Something you could look at and compare to yours if you wanted.

That would be fine, I want to have multiple monitors connected to my PC. Not just a copy of my screen but an extended screen, will my graphics card support that? and can one monitor be DVI and one HDMI at the same time?

GTX 770 should easily be able to do Eyefinity.. Or multi monitor gaming.. Whatever its called for Nvidia (Used AMD my whole life lol) At 1080p that is, but if its 2K monitors no, 4k? Forget about it lol.

So I have revised my build according to suggestions, and was wondering if this looks like I'm ready to go? I would appreciate it if you could recommend an external SSD. Heres the link to my build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zRhdMp

Is money a concern? And im not too knowledgable on external SSD's only for external HDD's but i could try to find one and do a bit of research real quick. Also i asked if it was because you dont necessarily need a $160 Full tower.. But if thats what you want it is YOUR PC after all :)

Well money is somewhat of a concern but for right now its not ( Im in highschool, my parents are buying it and we have a payment plan set up to pay them back)
I just picked that cause because it is kind of flashy and I know I shouldnt have any problems trying to fit my parts into it.

Well looking at external SSD's and they're quite expensive.. Would an internal one be ok? ( a 256GB external was almost 500$ O.O)

And look up the Fractal Design R4 or the XL R2 from the same company.. they're both cheaper and sleeker and the R4 has windowed models too.

Internal would be fine, but I've heard that they are difficult to install, is this true?

I Woulden't think it would be much more difficult than any external, software wise that is, as for physical installation into the pc no, If you can handle a screwdriver you will be fine. All your case needs is an internal 2.5" SSD bay and if not you can by a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter for cheap.

Solution

yeah the 770 is a monster
