Hi so recently I bought a corsair h100 and I have a raidmax horus case and some cougars turbine fans that I can add to the radiator but the problem is that I had to mod my case and remove the hdd cage and CDROM cage to make the radiator fit in as affront mount pulling air into the case. Downside is that it exhaust the hot air into my case and increases temps even with 3 exhaust fans so I was told to either do a top external mount or reverse the flow of all my fans so the top fans bring in air and the front mount raidiator exhaust air through the front of the case. Is there any other ways I can do it to keep my rig cool all help is appreciated I can post pics if requested

More about : put corsair h100

Also if I do a top external mount will it be louder with the cougar turbine fans and stock corsair fans?

If you want to keep the rad mounted up front then just turn the fans around so the case fans are pushing inside air through the rad and out the front of your case. If you can though I'd recommend mounting the rad at the top of the case with the fans pushing air through and out the top of your case. Being that hot air rises, it's better to have a top mounted rad with it exhausting hot air out the top and the case sucking in cooler air from the bottom front than it is to send hot air out the front and pull warmer air from the top. I have a Corsair T600 with a 240mm pulling cool air in the front and a h100i mounted at the top with the two Corsair fans pulling air through the rad and out the top.

But another question would it be louder or a tad bit more silent if I put the 4 fans on it and mounted it externally? 2cougars on top and the stock corsair fans on the bottom
