Hi.I have a pretty old computer which only has one place to install a case fan. I recently changed my gpu to the gtx 660 which is more powerful than my older gpu. I have noticed that the computer makes more noise when I use the gtx 660 and much lesser noise when I switch it to the old gpu. Now ofcourse I want to use my new gpu so I want to install a case fan in the back of the case. The fan will act as an exhaust fan. I want to know how much difference in noise will it make when I install a case fan. I am looking athttp://www.futureshop.ca/en-ca/product/thermaltake-thermaltake-duramax-92mm-case-fan-af0059-black-af0059/10228749.aspx?path=6d576b8aa87c1cd7f1c6be4ad284334fen02
You can also advise me other fans

EDIT I have changed my heatsink too which did make a bit of difference but still its heard and now to further decrease it I want a case fan

92mm case fans are quite different, Most of the common fans are 120mm or 140mm.
A friend of mine just recently did the same as you just did, adding a case fan like that did decrease noise from his top mounted psu but didn't make it silent.

So yes it will decrease it, but not with amazing results. It is worth it though, especially with a gtx 660.

If there's two holes, that means it can take more than one size.

One may be 82mm and one 90mm, It's just used as a way for you to put 2 sizes of fans on there.
