Screen Resolution stuffed up..

Uh well i kinda stuffed up my screen resolution and i can't see anything, only my wallpaper and taskbar.. i tried to restart my laptop and i can only see grey?!?! What do i do.. i'm using windows 8.1

Well i got back to the desktop, but i can't open Control Panel or anything else and my desktop icons are gone D:

Laptop, but i meant desktop as in like where the wallpaper is and stuff..

you mean you can go to the desktop but it freezes there? Have you updated your drivers?

It's not frozen, and it's not about the drivers it's because i selected a resolution or input whatever you wanna call it and it became like that, here's a screenshot of my Desktop at the moment http://i.imgur.com/VGaERZI.jpg (Don't worry about the wallpaper lol) and if i click on any of the icons in the taskbar they won't show up.. Only Chrome shows up

Right click >> resolution >> use recommended settings.

Lol.. i'm telling you it won't show up, only chrome shows up.. or if you want me to explain more, when i click control panel the window wont show it's invisible

Turn off. Unplug to the socket. wait for a few minutes and the start again.
