Connect Pace 4111N modem router to TD-W8980 router

I am moving from ATT DSL to another ISP that uses the ATT infrastructure but ADSL2+. There's a slight download speed increase and more than double upload speed, but no bandwidth limit. It's not as fast as I'd hoped, but I'm around 8700' from the CO. I backup my photo and media files online.

I had recently purchased a TP-Link TD-W8980 ADSL2+ modem router, dual band, with 4 ethernet ports and 2 USB (and what look like 3 coax but the box says nothing about those).
I use a Win 7 laptop and an Android tablet wirelessly. I got the wireless access to work with an old wired network printer (static IP) and 2 USB drives (a dock and a portable drive) as mapped drives, before the ISP change.

The Pace 4111N from the new ISP (Sonic.net) has 4 ethernet ports. I need to use that as the modem at least for the time being. The IPv4 LAN addresses have a different third segment than the TD-W8980.
I'd like to be able to use the TD-W8980's wireless to access those other devices since I can't do that with the Pace. I'm probably also going to have a wireless connection to an HD-DVR sometime soon.

Can someone walk me through how to set this up please, with details on what and where I need to change/enable/disable and how to connect them. I know a little but I haven't done this before so I don't know what to look out for, or the best way to do it.
Thanks.
