CoD WAW Wont start up

hello,
I was playing waw on my pc and it worked fine. I went to install the patches but after the first patch installs it wont even start up. It is on a disk if that means anything and i have windows 7. I could run without patches perfectly fine. I have reinstalled it aswell but that does nothing.

Hope you can help me.

After your first install, Some files are created on your C drive. you have to delete them all
for this open c drive and type Activision on search box
then delete all related files
now reinstall cod waw..

An error message doesn't pop up. It makes a loadin sound like the disk or hard drive is spinning(not sure). I will get you the specs in a couple hours as i have left for school already.

Are you sure it's not just the game getting stuck on the first audio sample it loads? It might be getting stuck on the "Activision" logo video.

In any case, once you post your specs (they're for good measure, as this is hardly a specs issue), you should give a look in the event viewer and see if there's anything related to WaW
