So im running my i5 4670K @ 4.4ghz with 1.280v (fixed).

Idle temps are 30s and the highest temp with a prime95 stretch test was about 76 give or take.

While playing dead rising 3 i was getting 50s temp with the highest of about 63.

Cooler is Corsair Hydro h100i.

Thanks.

More about : 4670k good overclock

Seems fine tbh.
My 3570k is @ 4.5Ghz with 1.25v and running prime95 on an H60 cooler hits around 82

^ Haswells also run pretty damn hot compared to IB, seems like a good oc, keep in mid that prime is really as hot as it should ever get and when you are gaming it will never hit that load. 63 in dead rising seems good

seems a bit high for 4.4 1.285v
and I don't recommend prime for haswell, go for intel burn test

When using intel burn test they were 70s and 60s then all of a sudden jumped to 90s

How much cache multiplier are you using for your 4.6 overclock and what is the cache voltage ?

yes that your temps go higher in itb is normal with that vcore because its a bit high vcore.
I hit almost 90 degrees in itb when I run 4.7ghz with 1.255v.
normally I have my cpu cache just auto auto, but 2 days ago I set it to 4.2 with 1.2v.
It doesn't do much more for performance, maybe a little in benchmarks.
if you haven't already test if that's the lowest vcore you can use.
set cache ratio to auto, multiplier to 44, and vcore to 1.225v and test, I don't now how good your cpu is, so test.

Right now im with 4,4 @ 1.25v
cache is at 35 with 1.22v

cache leave it on auto, also the voltage for cache just leuve it on auto.
auto is already 38 I believe.
first try to get the lowest possible vcore for 4.4/4/5
if stable then try other things.
