Should I upgrade from 8 to 16GB RAM?

I recently built this configuration and its working great:

CPU: Intel core i7 4790k 4GHz 8Mcache
GPU: Gigabyte nvidia geforce gtx 660 2GB
Motherboard: ASUS Gryphon Z87
PSU: Thermaltake 630W 80+

RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Kingston HyperX Fury

I originally planned to have 2 of these RAM sticks but I was on a budget so could only afford one. I can run all new games perfectly fine, and everything works exceptionally. Should I upgrade to 16GB in the future? Will it make a big difference? Thanks

You will activate the dual channel feature, so you will have some advantage, but I doubt you are gonna see it (too much) in games, as in intensive CPU workloads with a lot of transfers.
If you do some of those, then get it. It definitely wont hurt you. If you`re only gaming, you might wait a year or two, and then maybe you will feel the need. However, sticks manufactured that amount of time apart might get tricky to put together. So in the end, if u can spear the 70 bucks, then get it. Wont hurt you most definitely.

If you need it, then yes. Dual channel will make your memory bandwidth twice as fast, but thats only if the sticks are compatible (hit and miss unless you buy a kit). If you want to edit videos or stream, then also yes. If you are happy with what you have, then do not.
