Hello,

I'm having a problem with a HP Pavilion g6 2240-SA. It was bought with windows 8 on it I have downgraded it to windows 7 because I don't like windows 8. The video problem was happening even while windows 8 was on it but it's worse now it windows 7.

Laptop spec:
HP Pavilion G6 2240-SA Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
Processor: AMD E2-1800 APU
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7340 Graphics
Ram: 6.00BG

This only seems to happen online (youtube) just as the video is about to play the whole computer freezes and I have to hold the power button to turn it off. I get flash player script is not responding error sometimes. If I start up in safe mode it seems to work without freezing.
What I have tried:
Both firefox and chrome are the same.
Uninstall both firefox and chrome and reinstall.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Flash player.
Uninstall graphics driver and let windows install new one.

This is a very frustrating problem. I'm guessing it is more then a flash player/browser problem since the whole computer freezes. Maybe a driver problem. HP don't provide support if you change the OS from factory.

Thanks for your time. If you need any more info please ask.

I would assume it is a driver problem as well. The only other thing I can think of is that you don't have the most up to date version of flash.

Thanks for the reply Velo. It's definitely not flash that's out of date only today I uninstalled and install it.
