I really want to ditch console gaming and move over to PC gaming, so I'm looking for a new computer. I am using the ibuypower or cyberpowerpc websites to make my new computer. This would be my first gaming computer. I want it to be fast enough to run games like Skyrim at fairly high speeds and graphics. My price range is under $1300. ANY help is really appreciated. Thanks so much!

Both those sites are way too expensive for what you get. I'd never recommend anybody buying a rig from there. If you can assemble the unit yourself you can get a much better rig, for less money. At 1300.00 you could custom build something fairly nice.

I don't want to build the computer myself. I've pretty much decided on all the parts, except the motherboard. I'm not the biggest computer geek, but I know that the motherboard has to support holding the RAM cards and has to support the graphics card. What would be the best motherboard for an NVIDIA GTX 760 2gb video card and 2 8 gb RAM cards? By the way, should I get air or liquid cooling for running games like Skyrim?

You want 8gb RAM, not 16gb.

We cannot tell you anything about motherboards without knowing the CPU you will use.

What kind of cooling system should I get for running games like Skyrim. I know most air coolers are bulky, but I don't want to use liquid cooling. Any suggestion on air coolers? Thanks for the help! :)

I prefer air coolers. I assume you will be overclocking, so get something like a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO. It will be good for getting into and leaning about overclocking. IT will support mid level overclocking.

No problem. This will run skyrim very well. Probably at ultra.

Other modern AAA games will run at high at 1080p.

Agreed, WAY overkill. If you plan to go with a bigger card later or add a second card you might want to consider a 750-850w PSU, but only if you know you will need it do to upgrades. And, make sure sure it's a Tier 2b or higher psu on the PSU tier list.

Here HOPEFULLY is the final product. PLEASE let me know if there is anything I should change.

CPU - Intel i5 4690K
Cooling - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard - GIGABYTE Z97-D3H ATX 2 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1, 3 PCI, 6x SATA 6Gb/s
RAM - 8GB DDR3/1600 MHz G.Skill Ripjaws X
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16
Power - 650 Watts - Cooler Master V650 80 Plus Gold Semi Modular
Primary Hard Drive - 2TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD
Secondary Hard Drive - 128GB SanDisk SATA III 6.0Gb/s SSD - 490 MB/s
OS - Windows 8.1 64 Bit
Case - NZXT Source 340 Mid-Tower Gaming Case w/ USB 3.0

Other comments - Should I get a mid or full tower case? Also, should I have a 2TB hard drive and a 128 GB SSD Drive, or just a 2 TB hard drive?

You want the SSD as the primary hard drive and the HDD as the secondary. The SSD is way, way faster and you want that to be the boot drive. As shown they might configure it wrong. I doubt it, as they should know what to do, but better not to risk them saying "well that's how you wanted it". Other than that it seems fine. And you don't need a full tower case unless you think you might be adding several drives later, other larger hardware like a big graphics card or maybe a custom cooling solution that requires radiator support this case might not have, if it doesn't.

Would a 128 GB SanDisk SSD be big enough with a 2TB secondary hard drive?

The 128 GB SSD is for your OS for boot up and your 2TB will be for everything else/storage. and yes it is big enough
