Yes, but you will need to set the XMP profile manually.

The XMP profiles are preloaded settings in the RAM stick so they can be run higher than JEDEC specs. Check the datasheet of those RAMs and you may see something like "JEDEC default" and "XMP #1, XMP #2, etc.".

Those RAM sticks, as many others, run at default settings when installed (usually 1333 MHz - 1600MHz, CL9 - CL11 at 1.5V) but Intel created this XMP profiles so, instead of manually setting the speed and timings for higher performance, you just need to load one profile and the rest is set automatically.

You do that in the BIOS. Don't ask me where because i don't know exactly, but it should be in the tweaking settings.

Believe that mobo uses AMD's profiling - go into BIOS enable AMP and select the proper freq

The A88X chipset supports XMP and AMP profiles.

Thanx for that, would be nice if they just set a 'standard' for DRAM profiles, they use AMP, XMP, DOCP, EOCP....but, there is always manual - which works best ;)

Depending on CPU, you may need to boost CPU-NB Voltage to stabilize the memory controller.
