Here's my specs
Processor: i5 4690 non K
Ram: 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ Kingston hyperx fury
SSD: 120GB Kingston hyperx
HDD: WD 1TB Black
Motherboard: I need your choice with that
PSU: I need your choice with that too
Case: NZXT H440

Will the i5 4690 bottleneck my crossfired r9 290 oc tri x?

Please tell me motherboards for best price that's crossfire friendly and intel processor compatible.
I need a 1000w PSU too.

No not a chance of bottleneck there. That CPU is good enough for even dual 295X2s'.

Also, what budget are you in for the MoBo and PSU?

Likewise, I'd get ASROCK Z97 EXTREME series MoBo or ASUS Z97-A. MSI and GB Gaming series are good choices too. Depends on your budget, all are CF friendly.

PSU: I'd get EVGA 1kW G2 w/o doubts here, excellent quality and great value/money.

You guys have listed everything I wanted, thanks. And, the parts price are at my budget limit plus Thaisnang is the recommend PSU is enough for 2 R9 290's? And, is the Asus Z97-A a good choice? I can see that's a good choice for the money, would it last long, like a good quality? And as I can see it does support SLI and Crossfire luckily. Thanks guys, I really appreciated it, now I can spend my money on something that's good and doesn't cost a lot, thanks once again.

I'd go with 1kW for CF, 850W will be too close. And get EVGA G2, they're awesome PSUs. Yes Asus Z97 A is a GREAT MoBo both features and quality wise, definately worth every penny :)

One more question if you don't mind, what is (UEFI)? Cause on the box of my GPU it says that plus at sapphire's website too? If you have UEFI or whatever is that does it affect motherboard choice like the Asus z97-a? Or the power supply or anything? I am pretty confused.

That's just a different kind of bios supported by mobos. You don't need to worry about that.

So, I've put my R9 290 OC TRI X for sell at the nearby store that I bought from, anyways. I think that's one r9 290 will be enough for me, I am looking for gaming with friends and that's pretty much it but, you guys have enlighten me with your knowledge and it's pretty much appreciated. Could you please tell me what's the advantages of crossfire and when to get crossfire and when to not? Is one R9 290 OC TRI X enough for intensive gaming? Just tell me what you know.

From what I know, a single 290 is more than fine for ultra gaming on 1080p. Get a second down the road in couple years when you feel you can get better with dual gpu, right now a single will give 60+

So, how many years will it hold? I feel satisfied now, thanks :D

r9 290 would run most games on ultra coming in the next couple of years. Ofcourse there would be some exceptions.

Unless game devs start making bizzare speced games, you should be fine for a couple of years. You see, the 290 competes with 780. Also, the 680 released a couple years back, can still run most games comfortably on ultra, so you should be fine :)

What's with all the stuttering or games not able to launch dual gpu mode comments on youtube? Is it still there? Will I face this problem?

With the latest drivers you ideally won't face such issues.

Luckily, that PSU is extremely high quality and can easily handle 2 290s :)

I don't get CPU bottleneck - 750w psu is acceptable for a stock clocked system

my system:
i5-4690 w/ a/m cooler
msi z97m-g43
antech 750w high current gamer
msi r9 290 twin forzer OC (+25mv/950core/1300ram)
sapphire r9 290 reference (+25mv/950core/1300ram)
1 x ssd, 2 x hdd, 3 x case fans, every usb port in use, 1x4k screen, 2x1080p screens.

getting 18,800 gpu score in firemark - mixed results in games, crossfire works... sometimes... (no fault of the builds, simply AMD drivers / poor game support)

Based on my research a 750w PSU is fine, however overclocking beyond 1ghz~ on air cooling should be avoided - the r9 290 power draw significantly increases with clock/voltage - switching to water cooling seems to reduce overall draw by 30-50 watts per card.

its worth noting that the antech can provide 740watts over the 12v rails and can deliver up to 40amps per 12v rail (provided its less than 740watts total across both (i.e 30amps simultaneously)) and uses one rail per video card.
