Hey guys, I'm currently building a gaming rig and now I'm at the point of deciding on storage. I've decided to skip the HDD altogether and buy just a SSD for all my needs. I see a few people run a small SSD for their OS and some files and then a large HDD. I'm mainly going to be playing games such as WoW, League, BF, Alien and whatever might be down the road.

SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE500BW 2.5" 500GB SATA III TLC SSD.

What do you guys think? Any other suggestions are welcome as well, thanks!

Are you sure 500GB would be enough?
Well 10 steam games,OS and some other required softwares,10 movies. And I've 400GB is consumed already. Like it was nothing!
And Destiny is not on PC though.

I don't know how much storage you need, only you can decide for yourself, go for a 1tb if you want,

Well in terms of Brand--> Samsung, Intel and Kingston. Others like Crucial,A-Data aren't bad too.

I appreciate it, Thaisnang, :) . Thanks for the feedback and research. It'll be easier to find a more solid SSD now between those few "top" brands.

I would avoid Kingston. Not to be trusted!

I agree that Samsung, Crucial and Intel are good, as is Plextor.
