Hello guys!

I finally decided to pick up a new monitor and a 144hz TN Panel from Asus it should be.
I configured it yesterday and am really pleased with the smoothness i can now enjoy in great games that tend to not suck at framerates.
I didn't expect much overall color accuracy and expected some uniformity issues.

However, I am wondering wether the luminance differences and or backlight bleeds i am suffering from are normal for this panel or if i got a bad monitor unit?

The screen is clearly getting brighter and loosing contrast the closer it gets to the bottom of the panel. Else i do not notice real clouding but this.

I have uploaded three screenshots from my monitor.

2 of them are up close, one set a little bit brighter than the other.
-The colors look less vibrant on these close up shots but that is just due to my camera or an unfortunate angle I shot them from.-

I think the color gradient and brightness gradient becomes very apparent though.

If if choose to display a monochrom picture it is less worse because the brightness gradient seems to be very constant and i would consider it less noticable in those circumstances.

This is an issue i cannot seem to fix by the osd neither, it is noticable in all modes and settings possible i have tried so far.

I would appreciate feedback from other Asus VG248QE/ 144Hz panel owners and guys who know what is going on and what i can expect from TN Panels nowadays.
Should i return it?

Thank you!

I believe that is a defect, I would have it replaced if possible. Plus, I have to listen to The Prodigy now, thanks.
