Lag with archeage

Hlo guys, i want to ask wether my computer is need to be upgraded to get the most best peformance? I have some lag in archeage or star trek online when many players doing skills in the same time..

Cpu : i5-2500 intel
Mother : p8z68v-pro asus
Ram : 8gb corsair vengeance
Gpu : gtx 770 gigabyte
Disk : 120gb ssd ocz vertex 4
Disk : 1tb wd black caviar
Power : 800w corsair gs

Not significantly in most titles. The individual cores of your i5 are just as fast as those of the i7-2600. There would be a marginal improvement in getting an i5-3570 or i7-3770. Getting a K version would let you overclock and that would provide a little more improvement.

Even my i7-4770k at 4.3Ghz gets bogged down in WOW when in town. Less so in 40 man raids, even with all the effects, but it is still noticeable.

A lot of MMO functions are single core and they can only go so fast.

You'll always see that in MMOs when there is too much stuff on the screen. CPU is getting bogged down handling all the calculations to determine player positions and spell/skill effect radius etc.

i5-2500 should be fine for quite a number of years. GTX770 is a high end card so that isn't the problem.

Maybe you have connection lags, check it with LagMeter (at Google Play)
