Hello. I have no clue what has been causing this issue but recently I have had trouble getting certain games to run. So far it's only been 2 games that have been doing this.

The Binding of Isaac
L.A. Noire

What happens is when ever I start the games they run for about 3-5 seconds and then they minimize themselves and force themselves to stay minimized. I will click on them and try to get them to open but they immediately minimize themselves. I thought maybe I was having something forcing the attention away from them but I can run every other game in my library full screen just fine without issue. I occasionally can get them to run now and again but 95% of the time they just do what I described.

Here are my computer specs.

wow, i have had games not work on steam several times, sometimes because it only allowed it to run in fullscreen or windowed. prison architect didnt work for me unless force launching in windowed. my binding of issaac launches, but i had to configure settings. I would try to delete and reinstall them. you might need to update graphics drivers, you might want to see if windows or steam needs to update, force windows updates, if you recently installed updates and the games worked before, i would try to see if you can revert back to before the update

i would also go on the steam forums. they are pretty helpful when i comes to specific games not working.

you have the intel hd 4000. there had been a ton of issues with those divers being messed up. i had to spend about a week researching fixes, and once i downloaded a certain update everything worked perfectly, i will try to find the link for you,

Well I figured out it has something to do with the resolutions the games pick. I was able to get L.A. Noire to load in a different resolution and stopped having issues with that game in particular but still have issues in other games that are in a resolution that appears to no longer be supported by either of my video cards. I will look into that link and see it it can help me. Thank you.
