1st time OC'ing (and owning) an intel based system. :)

Its seems so much more complicated than AMD..
Here is an amd oc guide :
turn off powersave stuff, turbo etc.
set digital voltage settings.
then simply increase voltage & multi.
stress test..etc..

Now to intel...Cache ratio, cpu ring freq, CPU input voltage, i dont understand 1 bit of these. :D

depends you have to try it, my I can leave at auto with no problem.
my settings for 4.7ghz are cpu current capability at 120% and power phase control optimized.
multi 47 and vcore 1.255v
cpu cache ratio 4.2 and 1.2v
rest is auto.

Did a quick test 4.5ghz @ 1.24v (cpu-z 1.264v)

P95(28.5) smallfft temperatures max :
1core 60c
2core 60c
3core 63c
4core 59c

delidded, mx4 on "every" gap.

Info: Clean win7Ult. installation with 0 drivers/updates :D

only g.chrome/cpu-z/prime95/IBT/hwmonitor

IBT gflops were only 48 tho...@4.4

What kind of cooler you have, because that's a very good temp for that vcore using the new prime95 , I never use prime for haswell, its not the best stress test.
even with my cpu at 4.5ghz with only 1.170v I go way higher but my is not delidded.

oke, but why do you need that stuff, are you a somebody how whant to clock as high as possible.
its not good stuff to remove.
it is already cool enough as it is right now, so why do you need it.
