Hey guys, i am planning to invest on a new new card, i am thinking about the 660ti and 760 in my country it is both similarly priced and the 760 is a bit pricier but the price to performance ratio is not that high but i am still considering the 760 due to its newer technology; And since there is an upcoming new nvidia cards i am assuming that the prices will go down, if ever it will go down which should i choose? Btw, i live in the Philippines so the prices may differ and ordering online would be more expensive due to delivery. I mainly use my GPU to game and not in 1080, my resolution is 1600 x 900 and would be planning to get another monitor to have dual, i also edit videos and music.

My system currently is:
Core i3 - 2120
8GB Kingston Memory
Asus P8H61 MLE USB3
Palit GTX 650Ti
and 1.5 TB of storage.
500 watts of Cougar PSU

I am willing to wait until the price drop and its a bit hard choosing the best bang for the buck graphics card right now. Please enlighten me.

PS I am also considering R9 270x but i saw a post that Dota 2 has problems with AMD cards but not sure. Cant fint the post now.

if it were me I wouldn't think it was worth it to upgrade from a GTX 650Ti to a GTX 660Ti

At that price I'd go with an amd GPU, they deliver better performance at that price range. The R9 280 is a great card for that range. Or the 280x if you have the cash.
It runs hotter than nvidia cards, but it has better performance.
I don't think that dota has any problems with dota and amd cards... I have a 250x, which is singicantly worse than thw 280, it runs fine.

The expected reveal is in 2 days for new cards i suggest waiting to see if 760 goes down or if they announce a 960 in that price point. Also what games are you looking to play other than dota . WIll your current card be enough for now until the release?
