Hello,
I recently bought an AMD 6600k apu, I installed this today, when I booted my PC, I'm not recieving any signal on my monitor.I haven't currently got a graphics card. It's connected via VGA to the motherboard; is this correct?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I can't get to the BIOS, when I boot the PC it doesn't send a signal to the monitor.

Your motherboard M2N68-LA (Narra) is an AM2 socket.

I am not sure how the 6600K fit in there.

EDIT:

I'll explain more thoroughly.

The AMD 6600k is a socket FM2 processor. It fits in FM2 socket motherboards only.

Your computer has a near-obsolete AM2 socket motherboard. If it did not get damaged, then you need to get an AM2 processor somewhere. They are hard to find because they are, like I said, near-obsolete.

Your motherboard, click the processor upgrades option:

I've removed the CPU as you've said, there's a few pins which are bent, although I've heard you can straighten them out if they're not too badly bent.

Its can be very difficult to straighten cpu pins. I get the feeling you crushed a few at the very least.

Yes you can bend them back, it's worth a try at least. Hopefully it didn't cause any internal damage from an incorrect voltage or something.

With the way the pinouts differ I would doubt any pins actually went into the socket. You would need to use a lot of force and basically bend every single pin.
