Hi guys, soon I will be building a new computer and I would like to know if these components listed below will work just fine. I also want to know if they will fit my case, and if you have any idea if the heatsink+cpu cooler will fit nicely without it obstructing the RAM.

I hope somebody can post and help me.

Take Note: I want my PC for general editing for games, and gaming, as well as general work.
I plan on buying some of the components today or tomorrow once confirmed that it's a good and working build, and then I'll buy the GTX 980 when it is eventually released.

Components:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU cooler: Enermax ETS-T40-TB 86.7 CFM CPU Cooler

RAM: G.Skill F3-1600C7D-16GTX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 Trident X Dual Channel Memory Module Kit

Harddrive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Solid State Drive: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Opitcal Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Power Supply: EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Case: NZXT H440 Mid Tower Chassis Cases

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 980 (Waiting until it is released)

Maybe, but just having the extra power incase I do get an extra GPU in the future or other things, might be more wise.
Also, how about this Power Supply then > XFX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
But I was told to get 80+ Gold, and the one which is gold gets dispatched a long away from Amazon, so somebody recommended the Evga...

Other than that will the build work and is it compatible.

Not that familiar with the cooler, looks like it will have a loud fan. Seems to be small enough to fit around most memory configs. You could avoid a lot of that by getting memory with minimal (or no) heat spreaders.

Thermaltake Frio is one I know doesn't extend over the memory.

Also plenty of faster memory available 1866 and 2133 aren't much more.

Hm okay well it was either out of that or the 212 evo which many people have used for this type of build.

Also I don't know what you are trying to say about the RAM.
I was told the triden 16gb 1600mhz would be more suitable for me build than getting 2400mhz or above 1600mhz, I want a quality make of RAM, but I don't want to damage my pc (apparently 2400mhz etc can increase voltage and mc

HM okay how about this one:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/G-Skill-Sniper-F3-1866C9D-16GSR-Memory-Module/dp/B009V52440/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410980064&sr=8-1&keywords=g+skill+sniper+modules

which is 1866mhz, i dont want to spend too much cash :)

but the one u recommended is only an extra £10-12..

will my pc be okay to use it or no? someone said it increases voltage and mc which is harmful?
