So im currently with i5 3350p 3.3 ghz 8 ram ddr3 kingston 1600mhz gtx 770 oc edition msi 1tb hdd wd blue 7200rpm nzxt ultra tower case.My question is will it handle games as acu fc4 gta 5 at high-ultra at constant 60 fps 1440x900 cause right now am dipping to 45-55 in fc3 sometimes constant 54 in ac4 strangly the fps is almost everytime at 60-63 avg 62 but sometimes goes to 45-54 btw the gpu usage in ac4 never goes above 80 :D its like 50-70 for somereason my best fps is in bf4 never dipped bellow 60fps i think that's the best optimizated game. So yeah am getting i7 5th gen and 970-980 plus new mobo and ram next summer but till then will i run those games smooth?

Consoles, per the makers, have a specification to meet, a narrow set of defined parameters to ensure 100% of the time the game plays, period. far cry 4 and gta V at ultra ABOVE 60 FPS? dream on.. At high it should handle em,exception would be scenes with lots of detail and action on the screen your FPS will fall below 60 no matter you like it or not,and those scenes are usually also extreemely exciting, can ruen the fun.

Its hard to say at this point (as far as I know specs for those games have not yet been officially released). With that said, my opinion would be in line with Crag.

I think you are going to notice a drop in performance and may not be able to play those games at high or ultra settings (which I personally think they should be played at whenever possible). Your summer upgrade sounds good, though you may want to swing for it earlier to get the most of those upcoming games.

If I had to upgrade today, considering those games in 2015, I would aim for a i7 4790K and a GTX 780 6GB.

Ultimately I would wait if you could and try them on current setup. Or at least wait for some more clarity on the specs or from more detailed reviews.

Well yeah but am on 1440x900p;d its low ressolution;d Also Crag why didn't you mentioned acu i mean isn't that the most demanding game nowadays also if ps3 and xbox 360 throws 60 fps in gta 5 why would i have problem with gpu that cost's like one console :D

Rule #1 About 'performance' comparisons, DO NOT COMPARE ONE GAME TO ANOTHER. Each game maker makes games DIFFERENTLY, sometimes the same game maker on the same game (say Game V2 and Game V3) will be completely different code. Each game maker 'builds from scratch' the 'game engine' they decide will do all the 'work' to make the game work, and the actual programmers (like when you paint or write your name as compared to someone else doing the SAME picture same name) each time do things 'different' then how another team does it for a game 'just like it'. The net result is you have different game engines, and different 'performances' each does based on EACH individual 'title'. So you can not compare how AC4 perfoms would 'tell you' how BF4 performs.

That said, you have a great system, BUT the demands of the games coming out since 2013 are making a 'dual-demand' (I am coining that phrase) where more CPU AND GPU are needed equally to get great performance. So having a high end video card (say a 880 OC edition) but a lower end GPU (say a i5-3350) you will NOT pull out all the performance possible out of the GPU, and vice versa. So you need to match both GPU ability with CPU, and unless you really want to spend about $4000, there is NO WAY you will get "ultra at constant 60 fps" on anything less due to these higher end demands.

That said I would ADVISE STRONGLY, STOP PLAYING AT LESS THEN 1080P (1920x1080) if your trying HIGH or ULTRA graphics. What happens is when you drop the video display level (your playing around 720P) for lack of a better description, you narrowing the PIPE your screen will display of information no matter how high the graphics are set to and actually will DECREASE FPS. When trying to match up best FPS to the 'settings' in a game ALWAYS drop the graphics level FIRST, before decreasing 'screen size'. So for example putting it on 1080P and Ultra you drop down to even less numbers, then drop the graphics to HIGH and you will see the visuals will still be roughly the same but performance will improve. If you need to drop to Medium then Low to increase FPS, then when you hit Medium drop down to 720P to get better FPS.

games on consoles are optimized for consoles,PC games usually are significantly more graphically advanced, doesnt matter if it's the same game.

Consoles, per the makers, have a specification to meet, a narrow set of defined parameters to ensure 100% of the time the game plays, period. PCs are open ended non-specific hardware (get any two users and see how much hardware is different, versions of drivers, patches, etc.) and thus can be anything from a Atom powered PC to a Xeon MultiCore and everything in between. Coding can thus be hard so the programmers (for cost savings, and REALITY) go with the smallest common denominator of current hardware and configurations that they code for, BUT that does not INHIBIT the LATEST and greatest hardware from taking that code and performing ALOT better with it then the 'normal' stuff does.

So consoles, HAVE changed, and now are trying to meet the 'PC Standard' of 1080P, 60FPS, High graphics, and they are meeting that http://www.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/PS4_vs._Xbox_One_Native_Resolutions_and_Framerates on many new titles and more (SURPRISED me! ) . So your statement was very true before these NexGen system, but now it is false, as they make the game for Consoles FIRST and FOREMOST, then PORT to PC. As in the case of WatchDogs, AC:Unity, and so on.
