Hello! In a couple of days I'm hoping to buy a build which includes the mentione GPU in the title.

I was wondering if it would be enough with an XFX Core Edition 650W to power the Gigabyte GTX 780 OC Rev 2.0? The rest of my build is an Intel i5 4690 with an SSD, 6x140MM case fans.

Thank you!

I read somewhere that the Gigabyte card needs 42 amps and XFX650w has 52 amps. Shouldn't that be enough?

A GeForce GTX 780 needs 42 AMPS ON THE 12V+RAIL and at least a 600w power supply.

The XFX 650w is a great choice with plenty of extra power and the right PCIE power connections.
