broke desk need help xD

so uuuh what happened to me was that I basically broke my desk.(I kicked it because I was furious,don't ask xD) It's made of reconstituted wood and has a crack going to the edge which is about 1inch thick. Please no clever comments about me not kicking my desk as I had my reasons. (seriously annoyed 4 times that day hehe)

This is more or less a computer and technology web forum.

Wood glue and clamps would be my recommendation. Might have to re-enforce the joint with some pins (dowels). That would require a drill.

yes Ik about it being a technology forum but I thought probably a lot of gamers must rage ? idk xD
(it wasn't about that for me but it seemed logical to look it up on here) but yeah I need some kind of product to fill cracks or something. But ty for the help anyway

Plenty of mechanically minded people on here I'm sure.

If you need to fill the crack, well depends on what the crack looks like when you put it together. If it is just polished particle wood, then wood filler would work okay, might be a slightly different color though.

If it had a veneer or laminate top, only proper way is to replace the whole top.

If you don't care what it looks like, head down to your local hardware store. They will often have reject or returned items for things like countertops.
