amdfx8350 @ 4.2 ghz
gigabyte 990fxa-ud3
evga gtx 780
xfx 850 watt psu
16gb ddr3 ram corsair 1333mhz

my question is would this be a good monitor to game on

I don't see why not as long as you use the proper cables. (Display port and HDMI would be my recommendation) More then likely the monitor will come with DVI cables.

Usually you can't use DVI-D and DVI-I at the same time. (DVI-I is analog)

Should work with no problem friend of mine has two of those on a 680 and I ran three monitors on 1 780ti. The refresh rate will help you in fps and in racing sims a lot.

You should be fine, you also should be able to run two, you might not get the same FPS if you were only running one but you will able to play them.

yes, i have the same monitor, but make sure you use a dual link dvi if you want to run 144hz. the only problem is that many games dont like to go much over 100 fps, and the 780 wont run graphic intensive games at high fps ( over 80ish) on ultra with a single 780.
