Computer: HP Pavilion HPE h8-1217c Desktop PC (link)
Old GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 560ti
New GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX770 SuperClocked with EVGA ACX Cooler
PSU: 750W

I'm getting a 1-1-1-3 beeping pattern when the computer tries to boot with the new GPU in the PCI slot after the 1-1-1-3 finishes the computer goes to sleep. When the old GPU is in the PCI slot everything runs fine. I've ruled out the issue of there not being enough power.

I really don't know where to go from here. I called HP and they were no help. I updated my BIOS to the latest version and still no luck. I'm going to assume my new GPU isn't broken. Does anyone have any ideas?

**If you need any other details post here and I'll respond with them ASAP**

Yea I looked at AMI's beep codes. They are no help at all.

Did you connect the PCI_E 6 and 8 pin connector from the PSU??

Since it looks like the new card has these connections

Some sites say that 1-1-1-3 means a faulty cpu or mobo

if you could find someone with a psu you could borrow you could narrow it to the mobo or psu

I've found the culprit! The card is faulty! Brought it over to several friend's houses for testing and their computers were experience similar results. Thanks for all the answers. Nothing more can be done expect requesting a new one.
