Hi all,

I have tried to search around but doesn't have much success. I run a small office of 10 and we constantly use emails to communicate with both our customers as well as each other sometime, the only problem with our current setup is that each of us uses Outlook connected to our email server at Godaddy and every time it sync (times 10), it takes a long time because our bandwidth is really limited/slow....... I know there must be a way where we can setup a local email server that can download and send message from the main server at Godaddy and let the 10 of us fetch/send emails with directly from the local server.

Basically I want:

Internet Email Server <----> Local Email Server<----->Computer 1
<----->Computer 2
<----->Computer 3
<----->Computer N

What can I use/do to accomplish this?

Any help is much appreciated!

It won't make any difference because it's still synching the same mailboxes(still from GoDaddy) which would be the same amount of data. If you have an issues with slow bandwidth, then you need more bandwidth.

If you host your own email server, then you won't have any need for GoDaddy's email server. Sounds like you could use a small install of Exchange and Lync (IM client for inter-office communication). This will help for internal office emails & calendaring.

If you're connecting to the outside, then you should talk to your Internet service provider (ISP) for more speed, as mentioned previously. That will make everything go faster on the Internet, including your email connections to the GoDaddy email server.
