can i build my pc without a gpu?

Solution
Yes you can. The 4790K has an integrated GPU that you can use until the 770 arrives. Simply plug the monitor cable into the motherboard's video port. Just don't expect to game with anything resembling decent framerates until you add the 770.

Solution
Yep.

I built my dad a PC and he doesn't use a dedicated graphics card because he doesn't game. The iGPU in his Intel i5-4670K works perfectly fine.

Make sure you install the MAIN CHIPSET and other drivers from the motherboard support site.

When you get the dedicated card you should be able to do this:
1) Shut down PC
2) Install graphics card
3) Move monitor cable to graphics card
4) Start up
5) Install NVidia drivers (direct from NVidia's site)
