I purchased one of these a good 5-6 months ago and want to format it now. Thing is, it came pre-installed and I didn't make a recovery drive..or image..or whatever it is, i'm pretty ignorant when it comes to this stuff, so I may get something wrong. Anyways, whenever I boot>f9>reset computer it says something along the lines of "A required partition is missing", I don't know how it's missing and I don't know how to fix it. I don't really have the money right now to make a recovery USB/Disk, but if I absolutely have to then so be it. Please can anyone help me?

No worries, The HD that is in the thing now has a RECOVERY partition built into it. UNLESS u deleted it. Get urself a USB flash drive, download the program ASUS Backtracker from Asus website. Plug in the usb flash drive, run the program. Reboot, boot from the flash drive let it do its thing. Now if u cant get onto to ur computer which it looks like ur problem is, youll have to have access to someones comp and get urself a OEM ISO file of windows. Search Google for it. Make a CD and do it that way.
