This a pretty high end build? I wouldnt say top notch or anything but would be able to pull good FPS out of any game possible at ultra settings at 1080p throw at it for a couple years?

Asus Z97-A LGA 1150
Core i5 4690k at 3.4 ghz, 4.0 ghz OC
EVGA gtx 770 4gb OC
16GB Corsair Vengence 1600 memory, not worried about memory because not really multitasking during games
600w EVGA B Bronze + certified active psu

help me out fellow nerds :)

More about : high end build

You don`t have to be a nerd to learn computer.
Btw, for your system, yes it is Middle to high end and yes it can run the games in ultra. BF4, COD, AC4. I would like to recommend for higher capacity PSU about 700~750 for future SLI.

Band choice of PSU if you overclock and you are a heavy gamer. I recommend a PSU from tier 1-2. Here's the list to assist you out.

Get a R9 280X instead. I would only go with Nvidia if you will be recording with their free software— Shadowplay.

The rest seems to be great and it is a powerful build mate.

I was thinking more high end games though, like LOTR Shadows of Mordor, and Watch dogs, given those are pretty hardware intensive. Maybe a crysis 3 stress test?

Yeah that's great.

This is a true high-end build which could run games like Crysis 3 like a boss.

Haha that processor and GPU is out of my budget, currently I have an 800$ build, I have a core i5 4460 with a asus gtx 750 ti gpu, also with 8 gb corsair ram. So the products I listed is what Im going to be upgrading too, all the upgrades are going to run me about 1100 dollars, im saving the cpu for a little later though so currently the price for those upgrades are 877.93 off newegg

Great choice as I have already discussed with you. Change the PSU and you are ready to rock and roll.

Don't just randomly link tier lists and say that anything below tier 2 is bad, as it's not. Yes, if you wanna overclock everything to the max then an expensive PSU will cope easier and will stay quiet all the way, but otherwise his PSU has been tested before and it's a perfectly good one for a 80+ bronze unit.
Also, are you really suggesting him ditch his GPU and get one that is exactly as fast as his current one (or slightly slower if anything)? If you're trying to hide that you're an AMD fanboy, you're not doing a very good job.
