Asus 760TI causing 3 computers to not boot

Long story short I was gaming yesterday and in the middle of the game the computer shut off and refused to turn back on. The gigabyte motherboard lit yellow and green light on the Northbridge next to memory.

Of course I didn't know what the problem was right away so I did a bench build and replaced every single component with no solution until I finally removed the graphics card because that was the last thing I thought it could be.

To confirm this I put the card in 2 other entirely different 100% working computers and the second I installed the graphics card both of the computers refused to turn on.

My question to you guys is have you ever heard of anything like this where a graphics card will just prevent computers from turning on?

Is there some sort of safety mechanism? And does the problem I'm having with the card give me any clues as to how it could have occurred in the first place?

Thanks a lot for any help.
