Sad part is that Joe isn't even kidding about the Fps.. He's a little off though he might run like 4999 FPS but you were close enough ;) ;) ;)

I agree with Joe though.. You don't need a $2k rig for games like minecraft or BF4. But if you REALLY want a $2k rig:

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor ($384.99 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 93.3 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler ($59.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: MSI X99S SLI Plus ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard ($226.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: A-Data XPG Z1 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2800 Memory ($224.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Crucial...
Many I ask why a $1500 PC for Minecraft. You wouldn't even need a single GTX 770 to run Mincraft. The SLI will probably get you more than 5000FPS, I don't think I can see that...;)

But if you want to spend the money, then maybe a $1000 is far as I will go to play Minecraft.

It would be far better to switch to a 5820k and put the money towards a better GPU. $2k and only a 290?

Make sure you have a 144Hz monitor if that's the case otherwise you won't see past 60fps if you're using a monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate.
