Hows My Build?

I totally agree with you, but his build seems to be a budget build. So if a tier 1-2 can't be afford, a tier 3 is the next choice.

That 6300 is a really fine CPU. The 8350 has some advantages (8 core vs. 6 and a few other things) but almost nothing in the gaming world is using 8 cores. My wife's PC has the 6300 and mine the 8120, and in many tasks it runs faster and better then mine (Mines quicker in games Only because I have two video cards.).
I would stick with the 6300.
Power supply, better power supply. You will have a really nice gaming/work system that should last you several years.

$700 is my max. The catch is I'm tied to Amazon solely for the build and what I have currently adds up to $709.

Edit: I'm also getting a 360 controller. That's what makes up the $40 gap for the most part.

Sorry I should have rephrase what I said what's your budget for the PSU?

And maybe try a R9 280 instead to save the money and invest in a better PSU.
