Hello All,
Just got the Rog Swift and it's sick! I am loving how smooth it is, but I'm noticing something upsetting. On CS:Go I realized I'm getting fps dips often. My specs are the following:
i7-2600k...no OC, 3.4ghz
GTX 670 SLI 4gb
16gb Ram
I never got the issue with my old monitor....Asus PB278Q. Generally I ran the game with v-sync off and my fps was well over 200 and I had no issues. Granted with G-Sync it looks much smoother as there are no tears, but these odd fps dips remind me of when I have V-Sync enabled and it's really throwing me off during a fast paced game like CSGO. It is really apparent when I look at the score screen.
I was just wondering if anyone else with this monitor has noticed some odd dips in FPS as if you're using V-sync...even though G-Sync isn't supposed to dip. I haven't noticed this with many other games yet, but I figured I'd post anyway.
