I have an old Acer t135 that I wish to recover data from. I bought it in 2005 and it has only used lightly for 2 years and left sitting at the same spot for 7 years. The exterior casing over the power supply fan is very rusted(I live by the sea). The interior looks fine. When I press the power button, the desktop beeps and some lights flash. The hard drive is a 80Gb SATA HDD. I was thinking of taking out the drive and putting it in a external enclosure to see if it works.
