So I am getting a EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Superclocked Graphics card. When I bought it, it didn't come with a fan. Do you think I'll need one, just for safety?

There's no fan on the gpu at all? If not return it that's not right there is no passively cooled 780. Is this a used 780?

Can you link us exactly what you bought? It almost sounds like you bought a 780 with a waterblock.

*phew* Okay, I can see where the confusion is coming from. As Chromic said, the "circle" at the one end is actually a fan.
