Hey guys,
My old computer is the worst thing known to man therefore I was thinking of getting a new computer. My budget is really tight so I need to get the cheapest computer but good enough to do regular activities. I need everything including the OS and such. Im going to play simple games like League of Legends and Tera on 1920x1080 resolution. Also, I am going to be listening to music, stream videos, and browse online. Can this build handle all of this? Also, I am thinking of overclocking the CPU to 4.5 ghz. If I have a mistake or can change anything please tell me, remember, I am trying to get the cheapest yet the best for the price possible. Thanks

Recycle the hdd and dvd from the old build get the cx 430 to save more money, there is nothing wrong with the cx series im getting really tired of hearing there is. Anyone who says differently surely has not used one, simplu calculate the voltage and try not to exceed the 75% or the wattage rating but that is standard for all psu
I have used them on 5 builds some heavily overclocked but as mentioned simply calculate how much power you need uour build needs very little
yoy want to overclock and with a low budget like yours I think thats the only option. The h81 is going to give you negligible oc ability. Yake the extra monry I saved you and spend it on a h97 as mentioned above or a b85 at the very least.

Im all for intel these days but a 6300 from amd might be the way to go even without the overclock. A cheap amd mobo with a 3 core 6module cpu will give you good powrr out of the gate. The budget is so low you may want to recycle your old case as well.

Cx series is exactly what is what this budget calls for

I had an i3 3220 and cf 7850 oc edition 8 gb of ram a dvd burner and hdd drive and it was fine on a 430 watt psu, I wouldnt and didnt use it forever like that but it was capable. Aviid oving alk tigetger with an i3 using the miney I saved you

My old computer is actually a laptop so will the HDD and the DVD work still? And the HDD is only 150 GB so I rather by a new one but if I dont need to, I wont. Mentioning the AMD build, which will be better?

Yeah I unselected your answer as it isnt sound advice. I may ot have given the best either we may need more help.

I still prefer the intel buld, it leaves room to upgrade, I would look at lowering the psu to a 430 watt corsair cx to save a lil cash. If the difference is 5 dollars then dont bother.

as your old comouter was a laptop none of the parts are worth trying to keep
