Yesterday i saw the "final specs" and i dont know what to think. i am a bit confused and not quite good at reading GPU specs, so can anybody tell me how good according to the specs released it will be?
My original plans are 780 but since i heard 980 was just arround the corner i waited, and i still wait for release, but is it true that 980 is better than 780ti?
Please explain this, i would like some clarity.

Edit: It will also need 2 6pin connectors. Will my Corsair AX860 work with the card?.

The rumoured price of the 980 is $599, with some people saying $499. It's often a $1=€1 conversion (or even worse, blegh), I don't know about Norway though.

Then again, the 780 Ti had a launch price of $699. All will be revealed tomorrow :)

Your AX860 will work fine, it has 6 6+2 pin PCIe connectors. Just plug in two of them and wrap the extra two pins around them or something.

The specs can be a little misleading because a single Kepler CUDA core is slower than a single Maxwell CUDA core. So the numbers don't really mean a lot until we see some actual benchmarks. I expect the 980 to be 10-15% faster than the 780 Ti though. Just wait a day or two and we'll know for sure.

780 in Norway costs 580USD and i am not sure what 980 is gonna cost now. I am a bit worried it will be more than 4k norwegian krouner.
