I'm all finished with my build and have everything plugged in and what do you know, when I turn it on it attempts to boot my cpu cooler light (Corsair H105) blinks really fast and I can hear a small tick noise that sounds like its coming from the psu. When I don't have power connected to the GPU it boots up perfectly. I have already updated the bios which I was really hoping that could of been the issue. But im rather now hoping its a power supply issue as I will go buy one tomorrow haha. When I do plug the 6 and 8 pin connector to the gpu from the psu the asus gpu actually has green LED indicators that light up with each plug.. So power is going through..

Yes, Ive plugged in everything correctly
Yes I have reset cmos and bios updates

All correct connectors in correct places.
My parts are as follows
i5-4690k
MSI z97-G45 mobo
8GB ddr3 corsair vengeance pro
Asus r9 290 Direct cu II OC 4gb gpu
EVGA 1000w SuperNOVA G2 psu

I have done everything I know to do, Im fairly new a building computers and would like some insight before I drop more money on parts.
Anyone have any troubleshooting tips? I dont have any other psu's or gpu's to test what may be faulty. Just attempting to see what I may have missed? If there is nothing else I can do besides get new part(s) which should I get? What sounds more like the culprit? Thank you very much for your help!!
