My mouse doesn't work in any USB port

I have a a laptop that doesn't recognize anything. I've tried multiple mouses and all of them that i have tried work perfectly on other devices. I can't afford a new computer so is there anything i can do?

If you have a smartphone that can be charged via USB, try it and see if it's getting charged. If it is, it means you're missing some drivers. If it's not, it might be a hardware issue.
