pc is lagging on most new games, star citizen,metro 2033, last light redux

what setting and fps can i play these games on without lag?

Any card you get has to match your cpu, fit in your case, be in your budget and be reliably powered by your power supply.

Your CPU will easily run a R9 280. Can you afford one? Will it fit in your case? What make and model power supply do you have?
