About 700-850W so you have some head room for upgrades or more OC'ing. I would go with the Corsair AX850i if funds allow it. Antec has a really good 850 equivalent as well. Try to browse for PSUs that will be at least Bronze certified but Gold would be better.

that ax850i is a bit too much, maybe there is a good 700w you can recommend?

Corsair GS700, you could even go with some of the 650W PSUs as well. You won't have as much head room though.

You may want to give this video a watch:

You may be quite surprised as to how many watts you will only need, 860w is absurdly overkill even for future upgrades. (Unless of course you are upgrading to dual r9 295x2 or something).
A 500w psu will be more then enough for now as long as its a decent quality unit, you may as well stick to that until you are ready to upgrade.

Hence why I recommended the 650W and 700W PSUs. It's all in what he wants to do and what other hardware he'll use. Also depends if he wants to plan to have a multi-GPU setup or even run a water loop or have custom lighting and such. And you need more than an 860W to run a system and properly utilize the potential of an R9 295X2. That card uses ~460W on average with no OC or anything else.

watched that vid... interesting stuff, Think what I'll do is get a 550W PSU but a high quality one, the one I have atm is low mid so i'd say it needs an upgrade.

thanks for the help!
