Hi folks.. what's up?
there is a small question that actually isn't clear. The difference between quad sli and 4 way sli configurations ?? ...
As far as i know that the quad sli is a graphics card with dual gpu process (like gtx 690) but the 4 way sli is having 4 discrete cards in 4 pcie slots ...
Now I'm seeing a quad 780 ti and quad titan, which are paired in 4 sli mode instead of 4 way sli in YouTube channels.
if you can make things clear here about quad 780 ti and 4 way 780 ti ? if they are same, then any motherboard that says quad sli will support many discrete cards according to slot availability like Asrock fatal1ty professional .
thank you so much ^_^

That is a mix up on those YouTube users. I believe JaysTwoCents had a video explaining the quad and 4 way SLI. Let me go find it for you. It really helps clear things up. A quad 780 Ti SLI is the same as a 4 way 780 Ti SLI

Quad is the same as 4 way
Just another term for it
Unless you are using dual GPU then I guess 2 way is quad
Since quad is all about the number of GPUS
While the SLI is about number of cards
So 4 way sli is 4 cards each with single gpu
While if you have dual gpu card then 2 way sli is quad GPU
Hope that helped and yeah I know it's a little tricky :D
