First of all, I dont know all the tec-terms so you have to excuse the funny stuff.
I might give you to much info.

WHAT I HAVE:
I have got a Tenda N300 Wireless Router.
Its connected via a network cable to a “Server”.
The Server’s OS is Windows XP SP3.
Connected to the Server via USB is various Externals.

...... Also ......

I have a Vodafone Wireless Router that I use for my internet.

...... Also ......

We have two Laptops with OS Windows 8.
They are Wifi & Bluetooth capable.

MY PROBLEMS:
STREAMING:
I’m strugeling to view my DVD collection (on the externals) through my wifi. The DVD’s are in original .VOB format.
I manage to connect to the Server via Wifi from any Laptop whether I set the IP address to obtain automatically or manually. (I do understand IP address’s)
The Wifi signal is strong enough (approx 15m.). In Task manager/Performance/Wifi the streaming/buffering seems to receives enough data for me to view a DVD. It actually pauses once in a while.
But... While watching a DVD the video freezes and the audio jumps a vew schenes back until it catch up with the video then it starts all over again.
Also... It fails to copy large files.

Someone once mentioned that it might be something to do with the Firewall. Unfortunately I know nothing about this.

....... Also ......

INTERNET:
How can I configure the network to receive Internet through the Tende Wireless Router.
At the moment I have to Log Out of Tenda and reconnect to Vodafone and vice-versa.

....................................

I am very frustrated. I ran out of options.

If you cant assist me please refer me to someone who can.

Thanks
