case fan exhaust or intake

must i switch the side panel fan to intake or
leave it on exhaust as it is now.only other fan is an exhaust fan right behind the cpu cooler.got no other intake fans,the side panel fan sit right by the mobo,gpu.powersupply

Front, Side, Bottom (if any) - Intake fans
Rear, Top - Exhaust fans

Yes!

What I stated above is general practice. Feel free to add fans if you choose to do so. The total air intake should be approximately equal to the total air exhaust. You can read up on "Positive pressure" and "Negative pressure" But they don't mean much.

If you change the air flow pattern (Intakes, Exhausts) check the before and after temps using RealTemp, HWInfo, HWMonitor - and then settle for the best combination.
