Hello guys i just build my pc and i am a little worried that the gpu is not working properly!
When i start to play Grid Autosport i have some issues with the screen...it dosent freeze or crashes
but the screen seems like have some waves and when i go to the desktop while am in game its wavy! When i exit the game everything is smooth....also i played terraria and it was in kinda slowmotion mode...
Is there any way i can check that?

p.s I had some issues with the drivers...the cd could not perform a system check so i installed them manually but cpuz shows that i have hd 7970....

Thanks in advance!

Specs:
corsair 200r case
xfx r9 280x black gpu
4690k cpu
evo 212 cpu coller
xfx ts650w PSU

well technically, 280x is an overclocked 7970, u should not worry about it much. If the gaming is good then forget it.

i figured it out!it is not my gpu that has the problem!it's just that i have an old vga based monitor and i use a vga to dvi adapter for gpu...i plugged with HDMI my tv to the gpu and it worked smoothly...

Ohh, yeah, it happens with old vga oniters, my crt had a pinkish red hue which was really annoying and then i donated my old pc.

So what do you think...Can i go just with vga to dvi cable....?cause the monitor seems alright with the previous pc..

U mean dvi to vga right? And i would suggest not to go with it cause of the powerful gpu and the vga monitor wont handle the dvi output too well and some complications might be there. If u can live with it then its okay or get a new monitor.
